With the blockchain industry going through a massive shake-up, the time to build innovative projects is here. AZERO.ID has gone through a shake-up of its own recently, changing our name from Azero Domains to AZERO.ID. With this change, we emphasize our goal to create a holistic identity solution that supports you to enter and explore web3. Now, we are proud to announce the next phase, our tzero.id testnet, to our community members.
If it isn’t broken, make it better
The last week has been dedicated to allowing our ecosystem partners to try out the testnet and start working on potential integrations. So far, it has been an easy ride. Opening up our test net to our OG members will allow us to get a better picture of how the network and smart contracts operate under a bigger load. We would like to thank everyone who participated in our numerous Zealy events to earn the prestigious OG role to participate in this testnet; well deserved!
Our goal with the launch of the testnet is to ensure we are offering the best product we can to the Azero community and to make the user experience as streamlined as possible for now. On top of the launch, we want to reward the community members who participate and give us feedback with a whitelist spot for the mainnet launch. This whitelist spot will grant you the right to register one 5+ character domain one week before the mainnet is open for the general public.
You want to participate in the testnet but don't have the OG role in our Discord yet? We have good news for you! We opened up a last challenge in our Zealy board that will be rewarded with the OG role. The only thing you have to do is join our Zealy and solve the quests!

How to provide feedback
To get rewarded with a whitelist spot for the mainnet, you will have to give feedback on your testnet experience. Please fill out the following feedback form after rigorously testing AZERO.ID: https://tally.so/r/wbZYj6
If you discover bugs or have specific suggestions on certain UI elements and functionalities, you can also provide feedback directly within tzero.id. This can be done by clicking on the small feedback button at the bottom left of the screen that will open a pop-up window. This feedback tool provides you the option to immediately start a screen recording to document the bug you have experienced. Feedback via this tool is not required to have a chance of being rewarded with a whitelist spot, but we are positively taking submissions into account since we can match them with your Discord account. We encourage you to break the platform and will be all hands on deck to provide quick fixes. Let us improve the platform together!

Share your testnet domain!
For all OG testers, we also have a dedicated Zealy sprint with many exciting quests. One of them is to share your registered testnet domain on Twitter. To do so, we integrated a special screenshot button in the success screen of your domain registration. This allows you to always take screenshots with our nice success animation, as shown in our title image. We cannot wait to see all your domains!
