Welcome back to the second episode of Inside Aleph Zero where we aim to bring you closer to the people and projects in the Aleph Zero ecosystem. Today, we are happy to introduce you to Rafael Lourenco, full-time community manager at the Aleph Zero Foundation. Together with Daniel (check out his interview here), he is responsible for managing and supporting the ever-growing Aleph Zero Community across multiple channels.
AZERO Domains: Hey Rafael! What drew you to the crypto industry?
Rafael: I have always been very interested in crypto as I saw that the current financial system could be improved somehow, and crypto aims to solve many of these problems.
AZERO Domains: What inspired you to become a Community Manager for Aleph Zero?
Rafael: I’ve always thought that the community is one of the most important things in a project, and with that, I’ve always tried to be influential and help group members voluntarily. Since then, I realized that I enjoyed working with the community and was offered a job on the project.
AZERO Domains: How do you think blockchain technology will change the future?
Rafael: I believe blockchain technology has the potential to change the world in many ways. Blockchain will give advantages like enhanced security, increased efficiency, more speed, and reduced cost. Also, it would be a more user-friendly UI, allowing less technical users to join.
AZERO Domains: What do you believe to be the biggest challenges facing the crypto industry today?
Rafael: In my opinion, the biggest challenge we will face is clear and uniform cryptocurrency regulation.
AZERO Domains: What do you love about Aleph Zero?
Rafael: I love that the community is inclusive and passionate about the project. This motivates us to continue working hard to follow all the steps set out in the roadmap.
AZERO Domains: How will the Aleph Zero blockchain evolve in the next 5 years?
Rafael: We will have a much greater reach on social media and a much more robust and complete ecosystem with several quality products. Without the slightest doubt, we look forward to the project’s development in the coming years.
AZERO Domains: What’s your favorite food?
Rafael: I’ve always loved sushi, which is my favorite food. The best food in the world is high-quality sushi, and the second best food is low-quality sushi.
AZERO Domains: What else would you love the community to know about you?
Rafael: I love playing sports, especially football, and tennis. Who knows, one day I can play with some community members!
